Suited for fisherman of any skill level, our inshore guided fishing trips offer opportunities to catch a wide range of fish species. Redfish, speckled sea trout, snook, and tarpon are just a few of the possibilities on this action packed day of fishing. You’ll spend the day cruising the relatively shallow waters of the intra-coastal waterway and it’s tributaries, between St. Augustine and Daytona. Some of the waters you’ll be fishing include the Halifax River, Smith’s Creek (Florida Intra-coastal Waterway), the Tomoka River, and the Tamoka River basin. This trip is suitable for both the novice and hardcore angler, as well as families with children. If you’re new to fishing, Capt. Jason will be happy to assist and instruct you throughout your day on the water. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you would like. Don’t want to touch the bait or the fish? No problem! You just catch ’em and Capt. Jason will take care of the rest. This trip also has plenty to offer the experienced angler. Redfish, tarpon, and snook are incredibly hard fighting fish, and there are plenty of opportunities test your casting and presentation skill with both live and artificial baits.
This trip also offers beautiful scenery and an abundance of wildlife that will surround you as you fish. Mangrove shorelines, porpoises, manatees, and wading birds combine to make this not only a great day of fishing, but a spectacular experience of the natural beauty that St. Augustine and Daytona have to offer.
Phillips Brothers Fishing Charters offers a variety of near shore and offshore guided fishing trips off the coast Daytona Beach. Each trip offers its own variety of some hard fighting fish, that are prized not only for their ability to put up a great fight, but also for their food value.
First we offer a near shore guided fishing trip just off the beaches of Daytona. Geared towards the more adventurous fisherman in search of larger game fish, this trip is a bit less laid-back than our inshore trip, and the size of fish being targeted is much larger. You’ll spend the day cruising just a few miles off the shoreline in search of hard fighting cobia, kingfish, and tarpon, with the occasional shark and a variety of other species also being a possibility. The thrill of the hunt, and the challenge of taking on some incredibly hard-fighting game fish make this a very affordable trip for those looking for some big fish action.
For those looking for a big time fishing adventure on the high seas, Phillips Brothers Fishing Charters offers offshore guided fishing trips in the deep waters of the Atlantic. You’ll fish 15 or more miles off the coast of and Daytona Beach, in search of some of the most prized game fish the ocean has to offer. You’ll spend the day trolling in pursuit of dolphin (mahi-mahi), wahooo, and tuna. Or, if you would prefer, you can fish deep wrecks, or drift drop-offs and deep ledges in search of grouper, cobia, snapper, and a variety of other species.
All our near shore and offshore trips depart from Inlet Harbor Marina just south of Daytona Beach.
